Rasa Sayang is a Malaysian restaurant tucked inside Concord Mall in Wilmington, offering a relaxed dining spot that fits well for lunch or casual dinners. Its location makes it easy to access, especially with a dedicated entrance and ample mall parking nearby, which helps avoid the crowds inside the mall itself.

The atmosphere at Rasa Sayang is cozy and comfortable, with seating that invites conversation without being overly formal. The staff tends to be patient and attentive, even during busy times, creating a welcoming experience for diners who might be stopping by solo, with family, or in small groups.

This spot leans into straightforward, authentic Malaysian and Southeast Asian flavors without a complicated menu. The offerings emphasize fried rice dishes like the spicy Pineapple Fried Rice and Thai Basil Fried Rice, as well as noodle selections known for their kick and fragrant notes, including Chay Koay Teow and Mee Siam — both carrying a signature level of spice and flavor.

Starters such as roti canai and satay chicken often stand out for their crispness and seasoning, making them good options for sharing or light bites before the main meal. The balance of spices here is approachable but leans toward a pleasant spicy heat, perfect for those who enjoy dishes with a bit of a punch.

Drinks add another layer to the experience, with offerings like creamy Thai Tea and a refreshing Lychee Drink, complementing the food well and providing a cooling counterpoint to the meal's spice.

Rasa Sayang suits diners looking for an authentic taste of Malaysian cuisine in a welcoming, no-fuss setting. It’s a good option for locals and visitors who want flavorful dishes without a lengthy wait, especially during typical lunch and early dinner hours. While the dishes may not be overwhelmingly bold or edgy, they are reliably good, making it a comfortable choice for those craving familiar Southeast Asian fare in Wilmington.

The place is nice. Amazing patient staff and cozy atmosphere. The menu is simple and priced reasonably. The food was good, but not amazing. It was flavorful, but nothing that makes you want to run back for more. Although, sushi was top tier and made to order. That was the shining star.

We came here for lunch today, and the food was good. We ordered the roti canai and satay chicken as starters, and then we ordered the shrimp tom yam noodle soup, pad thai with shrimp, thai basil noodle with beef, and pineapple fried rice with roast pork as main dishes. Our favorite part of the meal was the starters, as they were both absolutely delicious! However, the main dishes were good but of average quality and nothing too special. Definitely have had better Malaysian and Thai food, but this place isn’t bad by any means. Definitely would recommend both the roti canai and satay chicken as starters!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Malaysian restaurant “Rasa Sayang”, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. Even though we have allergies to some products, we were able to find a great selection of food that we can choose from. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the overall ambiance. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch Malaysian cuisine!

Very convenient location, located inside concord mall. Easily accessible as it has its own private door for exit and times you can enter through instead of going inside the mall. Parking is shared by mall goers and it’s lot of spaces. Restaurent ambience was good , staffs are friendly, attentive , outside food is not allowed, speed of service was great , menu selection was good , though it says Malaysian , when we ordered roti kanai( we received ready made roti, seems like not made in house- disappointed), curry it came along was good but still the quantity was way less. Chicken/tofu lettuce wraps tasted good but still higher in sodium/salt. ,Tom yum soup both veg/non veg options tasted good, fried rice (basil) was ok , chicken satay tasted better not great. All in all our experience is ok not that great.

Another delicious spot for Asian cuisine. The place is cozy with numerous options to try. The staff were helpful, and the food service was fast. My favorites were Char Kway Teow and Pineapple Fried Rice. The Wasabi Pork Shumai was good, but be ready for a spicy kick. The Rose Pork Red Curry was delicious, and the portion was generous.
